We have an exciting opportunity for an Team Assistant to join our clients offices based in Bristol on a temporary contract basis for 2 months with the possibility of an extension.
As the Team Assistant, your main duties will include:
Seeking instruction, guidance and direction from your line manager as appropriate whilst being accountable for individual results and the impact these may have on Sovereign.
Provide a 'first point' telephone answering service for department related enquiries. Transfer telephone lines to cover out of hours service as required.
Respond to enquiries on behalf of the department ensuring that enquiries and responses are recorded promptly and accurately in manual and electronic filing systems to assist retrieval and use by others. Type with clarity both standard and non-standard correspondence updating statistical reports as instructed. To include working on spreadsheets and accurate completion of surveys with residents as required ensuring management information systems are frequently updated. Maintain and update the department intranet page and office notice board as instructed.
Support colleagues within the department by means of managing the office administration efficiently. Complete filing, photocopying and printing for colleagues as required. As requested, undertake the role of Complaints Co-Ordinator for the department, logging and updating complaints promptly and accurately ensuring that the Sovereign complaints procedure is adhered to.
Respond positively to requests for help by providing assistance to other colleagues and departments when occasionally called upon including reception cover as Limited is charitable required which includes 'face-to-face' communication with both internal and external customers.
To be successful for this Team Assistant post you will need to have:
- Ong communication, IT, and customer service skills
- Positive & Flexible attitude
- Some previous admin experience
- 3 Years written referencing
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: 37 Hours per week, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: £9.10 p/h
