We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cil Collection Officer to join our clients offices based in Morden on a temporary contract basis for 7 months with the possibility of an extension.
As the Senior Cil Collection Officer, your main duties will include:
You will be responsible for identifying, calculating and collecting Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) liabilities. You will also be involved in the monitoring and administration of and compliance with S106 legal agreements and you may also support the process of allocating CIL and S106 funds. You will be working with (and where necessary/appropriate leading) your fellow CIL Collection Officers in their S106/CIL duties and reporting to the S106/External Funding lead officer.
To be successful for this Senior Cil Collection Officer post you will need ot have:
We are looking for someone with substantial experience in planning or local authority finance in a data/financial monitoring role preferably for a local authority as a CIL Collection Officer who will get great job satisfaction from forensic problem solving and has excellent attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment. With strong technical, numeracy and information management skills, together with a meticulous approach to your work, you will be able to work independently to meet challenging deadlines
