A 3 months+opportunity for a Pensions Liaison Team Leader has arisen with the local authorities in Bradford.
You will be leading a team of four pension liaison officers and will be responsible the provision of an advisory and administrative pension liaison service for the Council and our external clients (schools and academies) ensuring compliance with pension legislation at all times.
You will need to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of public service pension scheme administration, and will be responsible for ensuring all pension scheme statutory deadlines are met. The role will entail interpreting and implementing legislative and policy changes and communicating these effectively to our internal and external clients. In addition, you will be responsible for complex case resolution and specialist pension scheme administration tasks.
An understanding of payroll and its impact on pensions would be beneficial, along with the drive to review and improve existing processes to ensure compliance and maximise effectiveness and efficiency.
Excellent communication skills are essential to the role and a pension related professional qualification would be highly advantageous.
Hours of work are 9am till 5pm, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
