This role is to support the Head of Digital and Lead Designer in the set up and running of the Design and Digital Studio function, and will be expected to work closely with the Head of Communications, Planning and Engagement on managing the wider work schedule.
This will require the successful applicant to:
- have knowledge of both design and digital areas
- be familiar with creating and managing client briefs
- be comfortable in a client-facing role, where there will be some negotiation with clients on deliverables and timescales
- be comfortable with resource planning in a similar environment
- be comfortable with common design programmes (InDesign, Photoshop etc)
- be comfortable with social media marketing (e.g. preparing and running Facebook ads)
- be an effective member of a team
- be comfortable giving direction to other members of the team, including more senior staff.
