We have an exciting opportunity for an Enforcement Manager to join our busy offices based in Gosport on a temporary basis for 3 months with the possibility of an extension. We are looking for someone to start ASAP, working 37 hours per week, at £24.03 p/h.

As the Enforcement Manager, your main duties will include:

  • To ensure that all equipment necessary for operational officers is in good working order and that officers are trained in the policies and procedures relating to its use.
  • To manage the vehicles allocated to the unit making sure that they are maintained, and contain all the necessary equipment.
  • To arrange the repairs and servicing of vehicles and the installation of fixed equipment and signwriting.
  • To ensure that officer's report defective or missing equipment, and incidents relating to the use of vehicles.
  • To oversee the management of controlled stationery in use by the team, and create new items when required. To check personal records are kept to the required standard.
  • To ensure the PACE interview room is available for use and stationery and equipment is present and up to date.
  • To oversee the safe storage of evidence.

To be successful for this Enforcement Manager post you will need to have:

  • Sound practical knowledge of the application of the terms of Police &Criminal Evidence (PACE) to enforcement work
  • An understanding of the statutory responsibilities of a Local Authority
  • Good general education, report writing, numeracy and IT skills.
  • Working knowledge of the UK criminal justice system
  • Full current driving licence, and ability to drive
  • Knowledge of personnel management
  • Knowledge of how health and safety is managed in the workplace
