A 7+ month opportunity has arisen for a Contact Tracing Supervisor within the local authorities in Bournemouth.

Job Overview

To supervise a frontline operational team focused on delivering an efficient well-defined public health risk assessment of Covid-19 cases identified for contract tracing. Training and supporting a remote team of contact advisers, allocating cases, ensuring full compliance with the contact tracing systems, preparing reports and ensuring all cases are managed within defined timescales and ensuring short term deliverables are met within a wider service of programme work. Adapting to service changes rapidly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Your role will involve taking day-to-day responsibility to review the lists of contacts provided by Regional Public Health England teams/other sources of people testing positive for Covid-19.
  • Determining high or low risk contacts and allocating calls to contact advisers.
  • Undertaking case interviews with individuals who have already been identified as symptomatic and/or confirmed as having Covid-19.
  • Perform an initial public health risk assessment of Covid-19 cases identified for contact tracing in line with the contact tracing and management protocol and further protocols or guidance as indicated.
  • Manage complex contacts/calls escalated by contact advisers.
  • Ensure data is for purpose for call handlers to make calls

Specific Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of working in a customer focused or operational role.
  • Experience of managing and supervising staff and allocating work.
  • Highly computer literate and skilled with the ability to pick up new computer systems rapidly.
  • Knowledge and experience of GDPR
