Do you have media expertise to help the Combined Authority and, from next year, the West Yorkshire Mayor to raise the profile of our work locally, regionally and nationally?
Do you have the creativity and innovation to generate through the line campaign content to help influence stakeholders and promote the Combined Authority's work?
Are you a strong networker who would relish the opportunity to build meaningful partnerships within the region, for the benefit of the region?
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with excellent communications skills who can help raise the profile of the Combined Authority and its work.
With an understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing the organisation and the region, the holder of this post will work with colleagues to raise the status and profile of the Combined Authority within West Yorkshire and beyond.
You will work to not only generate positive media coverage, nationally and regionally, but be experienced at inspiring debate, and content powerful enough to help shape national policy decisions that influence our region's way of life.
The successful candidate will be a confident media relations professional, adept at creating compelling opportunities for local, regional and national media and building relationships with key journalists, as well as reacting quickly to emerging issues and identifying opportunities for our spokespeople to contribute to the national conversation.
Rate of pay
