A 6 months+ opportunity for a Benefits Assessment Officer has arisen with the local authorities in Portsmouth.
We are looking to recruit a temp on a 3 month contract to assist with applications for the Self Isolation Payment grants of £500.00; as well as providing general administrative support to our Benefit and Finance departments as requiredKnowledge of providing a customer focussed advice, information, enquiry, transactions and complaints handling.
Excellent knowledge of Standard Microsoft software packages: Office, Outlook, Excel and Word packages.
Excellent decision making skills and an ability to analyse problems to find solutions at the first point of contact.
To be able to deal sympathetically with distressed, agitated, confused or irate.
Hours of work are 9am till 5pm, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
